The siren would be approx 8 feet away, and mounted high enough so a thief would need a ladder to reach it. I just want to set up this siren in case the window is broken. I don't own an alarm system (ie ADT) and I don't want to buy/install one. So if a thief broke our window, the siren would make a lot of noise (which might alert our neighbors as well due to the siren going off) and act as a deterrent. I'd like to self-install a glass break sensor and wire it up (or go wireless) to a loud siren. I've been googling for a few days with no cided to register here in my search for help. I have tried to enroll new modules but it still only finds one. Please any help/insights would be appreciated.Īlso, in the past the I have seen 2 modules enrolled, but now I only see 1. Something is wrong because 8019 doesn't work as the installer code. Is the installer code the same as the master code? (Control Panel.png) If not, how do I get my installer code? I can get connected and you can see the error on the attached screenshot (keypad.png)
The problem was that I didn't know my installer code. Press exit key until you exit programming. I have found a forum where it shows me how to turn this off. This makes sense because my phone line is disconnected. My main problem is that I have a phone trouble error.
